Andrew Nutter goes global as show airs in Canada and the Oprah Winfrey Channel in USA... He appears as a judge on cult TV show ‘Anna and Kristina’s Grocery Bag’
Andrews’s quest for global recognition hit the big time as a show he filmed recently aired in Canada and USA. He was involved as a judge on a cult TV show “Anna and Kristina’s grocery bag” which aired to millions of viewers overseas. Further info here: Best British Dishes
The show saw hosts Anna and Kristina travel to England to test a cookbook of old traditional British classics. The cookbook was our very own Marguerite Patten’s Best British Dishes but it was the judging aspect where Andrew came into his own with his Lancastrian Banter - ‘eh by gum’ and ‘ecky thump’ (translator at the ready!) which had the shows production team in stiches.
The show was filmed over 2 days, one at Nutters Restaurant and the other at Swinton Park in Yorkshire showcasing dishes like faggots and rabbit stew.
