The Cookery School at Bordeaux Quay is situated at Bordeaux Quay Restaurant in the heart of Bristol. Owned and run by chef Barny Haughton, the Cookery School runs short workshops and longer-term courses for adults and children as well as bespoke events for community groups, corporate clients and private parties.
The Cookery School is also available to hire as a venue.
The Cookery School operates on a not-for-profit basis to make our workshops and courses as accessible as possible.
Our ingredients are sourced locally, seasonally and are mostly organic, in line with Bordeaux Quay’s overall ethos.
Types of Classes available
Workshops and courses vary from Bread-making to Fish cookery to our year-long course – How to Cook with Confidence. We run children’s birthday parties and sell gift vouchers for any denomination.
