Testimonials

  • Now that the dust has firmly settled, I would like to take the time to thank John & Ali Benson-Smith for their tireless efforts . There has been some very positive feedback from both guests who attended the event and Land Rover Marketing Dept. The event in its entirety would not have been as well received nor successful if it were not for your dedication and professionalism. Certainly from our point of view it is great to work with suppliers whom clearly understand events and the way they work, particularly on the scale of OBA. Once again thank you very much, hopefully we will get to work together on projects in the future.

  • A big thank you to Rosemary Melbourne for all your contact throughout the year and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Martin Blunos & John Quilter for their participation in this year's Grand Designs Live event at London and Birmingham's NEC, the show was a great success and we have received an immense amount of positive response.

The Live Kitchen Experience was the best yet and I would like to thank you all for being part of it. I hope your experience at the show has been an enjoyable one and you enjoyed it as much as we did and that you will be available for next year's bigger and better event!

  • Just to say thank you to Celebrity Chefs UK and Martin Blunos for what was nothing short of a brilliant success last Wednesday.

Martin's demo was beautifully executed and well-received without exception - in fact, so much so, that the next day, we had a phone call from one of the attendees to book four places on the next demo and a place on our ten-week Cookery course - so thank you - you clearly inspired them to come back!

The recipes on the night were perfectly chosen and pitched at just the right level and the timing was spot on too. It was clear, as a bystander, that everyone was engrossed throughout. We'd really love to have you back here soon!!

  • Birmingham Hippodrome's catering and hospitality service comprises theatre catering to over ½ million customers each year, an acclaimed restaurant, newly launched brasserie and hospitality from banquets to meetings.

JBS provided a thorough, robust and unashamedly practical approach to the development of hospitality in all its aspects.

If you want people with clipboards that write reports then he is not for you. If you want someone who commands respect in the kitchen, engages with your staff and leads them firmly but always with good humour to a brighter place then you could not do better. He will tell you what you may not want to know, but you need to - then he'll show you how to fix it.

  • Chef Martin Blunos is a genuinely lovely person who thoroughly threw himself into the day. He was approachable and personable and everyone is still "raving" about him.

He was very adaptable and made our "Celebrity" Ready Steady Cook! a roaring success. He put the contestants at ease and showed a great sense of humour which far exceeded our expectations. Martin did not rush off after the event and engaged in many conversations with team members who approached him.

I would have no hesitations in recommending Martin Blunos of Celebrity Chefs UK to other Companies as he was an absolute star and a pleasure to spend time with. Thank you Rosemary for perfectly arranging everything for us - we will be back in contact later in the year as we start to plan next year's event!

  • My brother and I own a restaurant in Karachi,Pakistan and we wanted to raise its awareness within the community; we came up with an option of inviting chefs from different countries to share their cuisine's and we termed it as a food festival. Browsing through the web, I came across Rosemary Melbourne's website and from thereon, my task became a lot simpler; she literally took the whole thing out of my hands and made it happen! The chefs came over and delighted everyone with their mouth-watering 'inventions' and we achieved out objective! Absolutely professional and a wonderful experience!

  • I would like to say a huge thank you to Rosemary Melbourne on behalf of Magor VAP School, the staff and children for supporting our Healthy Eating Event. The event was a huge success and the children thoroughly enjoyed the day, especially sampling the delicious food cooked up by Sian Blunos Sian literally didn't stop all day and the children were so enthusiastic, they ate like they'd never eaten before! Sian was such a natural with the children and was so professional yet down to earth. The staff were so impressed with her they all want a copy of her book! Thanks again for recommending Sian, she is a real credit to you and Celebrity Chefs UK and such a fantastic person to endorse healthy eating.

  • Celebrity Chef Martin Blunos joined us at Blue Rooms, a private members club in Bath to cook a 'Celebrity Chef Menu' for our members. The dinner was sold out with a waiting list of people wanting to attend. The 3-course meal was divine and our members certainly enjoyed it, the clear favourite being Martins piece de resistance, his 'boiled egg'. The evening was a huge success which we hope to repeat with Martin and other Celebrity Chef's from Rosemary Melbourne's 'Stable'.

  • Rosemary - thank you for your help in making the arrangements for Chef Michael Moore to officially open the new kitchen facilities at the British Disabled Water Ski Association Centre at Heron Lake.

Michael's cookery display was second to none and his warm and friendly manner instantly put everyone at their ease. We couldn't have asked for a better Chef to initiate the facility. His ability to talk to all people at all levels on a variety of subjects stood him in good stead when dealing with Lord Snowdon and new MP Adam Afriyie, with whom he was an instant hit.

In short, Michael's presence transformed what was to be an important event - into a day to remember. We cannot thank you all enough and I am sure that Michael's support has and will enable us to further promote the good work of the BDWSA.
