The author of the hugely-successful Street Food Revolution, he launched the British Street Food Awards last year with Marco Pierre White and the winner of the 2011 Awards has the highly acclaimed prize of being invited to trade in the Olympic Village 2012.

The 2011 British Street Food Awards took place at HARVEST AT JIMMY’S.
Richard has presented Full on Food (reporting on everything from the birthplace of coffee to the rise of the organics business) and Kill It, Cook It, Eat It (about the role of meat in our diet). He is the ‘supertaster’ that judges the food on ITV’s Taste The Nation and Channel 4`s Cookery School.
A drinks columnist for the Independent and a food columnist for The Guardian, Richard is a regular presenter of the Food Programme on Radio 4. He is consultant for Trudie Styler and Sting on the launch of their Lake House Table Range.
Richard knows the food and drink business inside out... He is on the Independent Panel of food experts that decide on the RSPCA’s Good Business Awards and has fronted a TV truth campaign about colourant used in farmed salmon. He has presented the Festive Good Food Show, the Real Food Show and the Taste of London, all of which host huge cooking demos and live masterclasses with the world`s finest chefs. He has presented many award ceremonies, from the Restaurateurs’ Restaurant of the Year Awards at Earls Court, to the Grocer’s Own Label Excellence Awards at the Savoy.
